Petraeus: Obama Bypassed Military on Afghan Withdrawal

I am not sure if anyone is blogging about this but it deserves far more coverage from what I have seen.

The following is Gen. Petraeus in his confirmation hearing's (since confirmed) answering Sen. McCain on Husseins Afghanistan withdrawl timeline, very telling.

Here is video of Gen. David Petraeus at his confirmation hearing today to be the U.S. Commander in Afghanistan essentially confirming that the "timeline" set by President Obama to begin withdrawal of U.S. Forces in Afghanistan is purely an arbitrary political decision.

Now does anyone understand Gen. McCrystal now?

Yes, most on the right had already come to this conclusion knowing the usurper-in-chief occupying the White House but this is confirmation (excuse the play on words) of those conclusions and every American should be very alarmed.

If you are not aware of what happened in Vietnam, then you had better educate yourself because it is now repeating in Afghanistan.

Know this about our military and our involvement in Vietnam; our Armed Forces did not lose one battle let alone the war.

When our political "leaders" made the war "political" and not strategic (that's what military personnel do) it was lost and many thousands of Americans in uniform died, were P.O.W.'s and M.I.A.'s for naught.

Yes, this is Hussein's war now and he is repeating the immoral mistake of the past by turning a war into politics for his own political ends.

And yes, it now can be said without a doubt, although with regret that this is indeed Hussein's Vietnam.
