OK, I think we all agree that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is in fact a Jew.
Oh yes, did you see I said 'is'. That shows the pagan holding this sign (and others) know nothing of what they speak. If in fact this person calls them self a Christian (being they mention Jesus) then they are lying. No Christian would use thy Lords name in the past tense, period.
Now for my Jewish friends these 'people' give the same status to God - gone, dismissed, no longer, hence the word 'was'. I know we differ on a main point, but these people are dismissing God (which we agree) altogether and in doing so are dismissing you as a people!
As to the wording "liberal", these fucks again get it wrong, there is a huge difference between one who liberates, as in ridding oneself or a people from tyranny and 'liberal' who wishes a return to it!
I would never claim to know the the mind of my Living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. But through study can guarantee He is not a fan of liberals as He knows they do not believe in Him nor would He believe in socialism or tyranny as He lived under it and died by it on this Earth!
By doing so, researching that is, you will sound more sane. Not credible mind you, but sane.

In Jesus's own words he stated that he did not come to do away with the Law or The Prophets. The Ten Commandments are found within the Law portin of the Word of God.
The liberal mentality seeks to do away with the simple truths of the Ten Commandments.
Therefore Jesus cannot be a liberal since He actually fufilled the law.

Typical liberal BS. The sign holder doesn't love Jesus, or even believe in God. As you rightly said Christopher, Christians do not refer to Christ in the past tense.
Same with "the troops" and veterans issues. They don't give a damn about veterans issues except to use as a club to beat some republican over the head with.

..well, not to provoke but they might be right in terms of those times. Agruably, the elders of the Jewish religion and the Romans who occupied their land at the time were not interested in radicals who would rock the boat.
But these comparisons break down when one translates them to the present day -- or even from one country to another.
For example: in the old Soviet Union, a left-winger, radical, agitator would be presumably someone who militated for the downfall of communism and a conservative might well be one who wanted to maintain the status quo.
Still in all, these attempts by liberals -- who decry the intermingling of religion and politics -- grow beyond tedious.
