CNN has a breaking alert on a ruling by a federal judge in Virginia that rejects ObamaCare as unconstitutional:
A federal judge in Virginia has ruled parts of the sweeping health care reform effort led by President Obama to be unconstitutional. This is the first federal court to strike down the law, contradicting other recent rulings the law was permissible. The key issue of contention was the “individual mandate” requirement that most Americans purchase health insurance by 2014.

EXCELLANT! Finally, a judge who gets it! Thanks for the good news, Christopher!
Excellent indeed Mark! Granted this will end up in the Supreme Court but gives the new House of Reps an excellent point from which to defund the whole thing.
Plus being there is no clause in the bill that should one part fall the rest remains it matters not what this judge did not touch, if this legal opinion stands in the SC then all is shot-down, period!
Just back linked this to APDP. I am sure this will go to the SC but the backing of this decision should give the SC a much easier time to go along with it.
Thank goodness!
This smoke and mirrors law is in trouble, one that was rammed down our throats by this smoke and mirrors administration. I suspect that once all of the unfunded mandates start surfacing during the adjudication of this monster, it will be completely discredited, along with the administration that did the throat-shoving in the first place.
The first card in that house of cards has just fallen...
Stay tuned.
This is great news! The whole house of cards is starting to unravel ;)
now this is good news Chris!!! ;)
Great news!! I hear that this has a good chance of standing when it goes to the Supreme Court. I really hope so.
Odd system that allows one judge to have such an important say on such a controversial issue. Never mind, good luck anyway.
Under labours rule a lot of NHS medical infrastrucure was created using something called Private finance Initiativel I won't bore you wiyth the detail suffice to say it has emerged that the £90billion of stuff built will cost us £250billion to pay off, Socialst money management for you.
Banned,,,"Private finance Initiative" sounds like a socialist catch phrase for legalized government confiscation of private monies - taxation without representation.
As to the judges ruling, it comes from one states suit against the government and will works it's way through the federal court system (higher courts) and then be ultimately decided by our Supreme Court.
