No Confidence

Friends, I will keep this short as most are aware,,,,,

Here at CP I am fortunate to have some Conservative bloggers from the United Kingdom who follow my postings and I follow theirs as well to be the most informed as I can be. You cannot be informed by just a nations "news",  people are and have always been the source for accurate information.

Now I mention this as they will be most familiar with the phrase of "No confidence" as is quite often utilized in the Parliamentary form of government they adhere to there and other nations as well namely Canada and Israel to name a couple.

Anyone wanting to know more about what this (No Confidence) means in that political system of government just Google it, but for my American readers we just witnessed the President of the United States abdicating his Oath-sworn, elected position as POTUS to a former, thereby casting a vote of 'No Confidence',,,IN HIMSELF!

Imagine if you will George W. Bush turning over an OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE press conference to his dad, George H.W. Bush? Or, Ronald Reagan to Gerald Ford or Richard Nixon??????

My God the Nation would be screaming and justifiably so!!!!

WHERE ARE THE MARINES?

THE MAN JUST QUIT!

IF HE DOES NOT LEAVE PEACEFULLY, REMOVE HIM FORCIBLY!!!

Another POTUS saw the future, yes Jimmy Carter. Most old enough to remember the "Malaise" speech of the peanut farmer need not listen (but it is nostalgic) . But for those who maybe new to this, just listen to the first few 00.19 seconds to understand what I speak of,,,,,,

That was 1979, a socialist POTUS who saw the future even before he even new it!

Do some of those words ring true? Well they should, he started the snowball which is the avalanche now!

In Britain a Government is formed by the person who the Queen believes can command a majority in the House Of Commons, hence the 5 day hiatus after this years  election produced a three way split.

A vote of confidence occurs when a voting issue is considered to be of such importance that the governments credibility is deemed to be ruined. That is why this weeks vote on student fees was of such importance.  Even though the MPs of the junior coalition party (Libdems) were ALLOWED to vote according to concience had enough voted no to produce a government defeat that would, in my view, have been seen as a No Confidence vote in the government as a whole and it would have fallen. This would not necesarilly have resulted in a new election since it is concievable that the Libdems could have cobbled together a new coalition with the Brownless Labour Party and presented this to the Queen as a viable new administration.

I must say Banned, being American, that this is why you r system does not work for the common man.

My point in this was not to debate systems, but rather what Hussein did. Utilizing either system,,,HE QUIT!
