Great video that shows all the snow. I'm glad you escaped the snow, Chris. I hope that trend continues. I feel bad for all the people stranded and lives/property ruined because of all the global warming.

Christopher . . I understand from the tv news that you are experiencing 'global warming' in Michigan. Please thank Al Gore when you see him. Out here in California we are gradfually washing away into the Pacific. There are homes sliding down the streets and people rescued by canoe from their cars that just didn't float. Bridges are collapsing as the brute force os giant trees, condominimum buildings, and a few upside down Hummers come down the stream at 40 mph. You have slush and we have mud in the living room. Take your pick.
All this while our fearless leader spends happy time with his family in Hawaii. Some bright (probably Republican) news hawk discovered that (and this is not verified) the Obama family is staying in a $9,000,000 home on the beach in Oahu, and that the homeowner paid a grand total of $300 in property tax this year. I mention that only because (1.) I suspect it's true, and (2.) I just got my tax bill and would like to trade it with that lucky homeowner. No, I really doubt that big 'O' had anything to do with the homeowner's special tax break, and no, I'm certain (almost) that he didn't trade a tax break for his rent on the beach.
Onward. You appear to like MIKE PENSE in the crowd of possible 2012 candidates. A couple of usually astute radio commentators characterize him as "not a high powered intellectual debator." Another tv conservative host pictures Mike Pense as a good solid conservative but without the dynamic personality needed to capture the Presidency. What's your opinion? How about jotting down a blog entry on the subject of "Mike Pense"?

As to Pence, yes I do like him and have posted on him before such as here, here and here for examples which also go to disprove what those "usually astute radio commentators" you cite. If and when he throws his official hat in the ring then I believe it would be more appropriate the delve further otherwise it would be a needless post being based on a wish. The sidebar spot on Pence represents just that, a wish.
