One of the left-wing conspiracy theories I've seen on some liberal blogs and sites say that 12/21/12 is the reason why the Democrats are spending like there is no tomorrow. Because they think there is no tomorrow. Kind of like the movie 2012. One the same hand many of those people think that people who believe in God are stupid while they believe that the earth was seeded by aliens...I love asking those people who creadted the aleins. It blows their minds. hee hee hee.

As to the movie, well good graphics but the worst acting I have seen in years and besides, they did not touch at all on the real science surrounding the date so more Hollywood hype with no substance.

(1) When was the last time the Sun aligned itself with the center of our Galaxy? (2) Taking that into consideration, at what intervals did it occur in those 175,696 times?
As I understand it, it happens every 28,000 years and the geologic history (not much human recorded history from 28K years ago) does not bode well in those intervals.

Kid,,,Lest you forget we in the US are the "bread basket" of the world and hold the most fresh water as well. This is what people do not understand about free trade, with what you listed this is how the world works. We need oil, they need money = free and fair trade. They need food, we need money, once again free trade. Same goes for Chinas minerals and so on.
Where the world gets in trouble is when one entity wants it all. There will always be war whether or not anyone likes it until such a time there is a real big one as foretold, and I believe in the Holy Bible which no one individual will be able to hide from.

I had not heard about the G8 departure in real life, but if you are referring back to the flic 2012 I believe that has more to do with Hollyweird sticking to the script of the current White House regime in hating all things British.

At the bottom of the homepage under 'General Navigation' you will be able to find a local radio station that carries the show.
Again, it is offbeat covering things such as 2012 , to UFO's and Bigfoot. Take it for what it is, but definitely fun to listen too. :)
There are some interesting comments here for sure Christopher. As long as I've been teaching about Biblical Prophecies, I've noticed more and more secular and other religious groups bringing up their own versions of the end times- but everyone always says those who believe in the Bible are dangerous. Beck has that great book ; "Arguing with Idiots", but even he must realize that is when you have to as in congress or some official policy matter(s) i.e.; School boards, City Hall and alike. To do so elsewhere including blogs is fruitless. Socialists have no truth, no facts (well they pick and choose from them) and no morals so what is the sense?
