Aussie TV Interview w/Geert Wilders

Readers across the blog sphere, broadcast TV and radio and of course a few who still read the print media have heard and read much about the proposed Ground Zero mosque in the past few month's from both the left and the right.

We on the right who are opposed to this, or at least myself as I cannot speak for all, see this agenda in a much larger picture due to historical fact. History of course means nothing to the left as they are about 'feelings', that is feeling's as the left sees them or that of our enemies, the rest of us be damned.

Now we all know, whether left or right, exactly where the current 'leadership' stands on this particular issue and that is against 70% of America, in other word's "We the People".

At this point I wish to switch gear's.

It would seem that  Hussein, Pelosi, Reid et al favor European standard's and I wish they might try some so long as they are current in doing so, considering Europe's current trajectory. Spain has given up on 'green policies' due to the fact it is killing their economy and people. Germany and Great Britain are scaling back national health care for the exact same reason's (throw Canada in there too). So lets not start either of those 'programs' here in the U.S., lets beat the Europeans at that game and stay ahead saving much time and money.

Now back to the point of this post that includes yet another European country, the Netherlands.

I wish to present an interview/opinion piece with and on respectively, Geert Wilders, a Parliamentarian in the Netherlands on Australian television. You will see right off the bat that this Aussie network is very leftist, but at the same time you will witness a man who is completely unafraid to tell the truth, stand-up for his country, represent the people and an example of what we Americans need in a real leader, a representative with a backbone.

This is an attack piece on Mr. Wilders but he can fend for himself as you are about to see,,,,

Refreshing huh, a leader who is not afraid to do what is right even when it is popular!

It is not surprising that the MSM would not cover this story due to their inclination to oppose the 2nd Amendment, but I on the other hand as well as the NRA see every win as important to protecting that very same 2nd Amendment.

This attempt to ban ammo based on an 'enviromental' basis was ludicrous on it's face, but the attempt is larger in it's goal; to ban ammo period, which without would render gun's useless obviously. Opponent's to the 2nd Amendment figure if they can't ban gun's, ban the ammo and thus far are failing in that attempt as well.

NRA-ILA - Responding to a grassroots outcry from gun owners, the Environmental Protection Agency today announced that it has denied a petition by the Center for Biological Diversity and other radical groups that had sought to ban the use of lead in ammunition.

Agreeing with the position of the NRA and the firearms industry, the agency explained in a news release that it “does not have the legal authority to regulate this type of product under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).” Further crushing the hopes of anti-gun and anti-hunting activists, the release added: “nor is the agency seeking such authority.”

“It’s outrageous that this petition even went this far,” said Chris W. Cox, NRA-ILA Executive Director. “We applaud the EPA for its understanding of the law and its common sense in this situation -- both of which were totally missing in the petition filed by these extreme anti-gun and anti-hunting groups.”

Because the EPA has no power to regulate ammunition, it will not move ahead with a public comment period on the petition. However, a comment period will remain open until September 15 on the other part of the petition, which asks EPA to ban the use of lead in fishing sinkers.

To be fair, there was much news relating to the economy and of course the rallies over the weekend and this story is not headline material for the MSM unless of course had the petition been accepted by the EPA. Had that been the case guaranteed you would have heard the news.

I found a humerous video that I believe aptly depicts the anti-gun movement in their losing an uphill battle and it being Monday I thought why not have a chuckle as well.

Reason TV; What We Saw at the Glenn Beck Rally in DC

Nick Gillespie of Reason TV does an excellent commentary and has some on-the-spot interviews in this video about the Restoring Honor rally in D.C. yesterday.

I find it interesting at the 5:21 mark we see professionally manufactured  signs w/ professionally manufactured slings to hold them from the left protesting a clearly religious-based event.


The following is the narrative accompanying the video:

On August 28, 2010, Fox News host Glenn Beck held his "Restoring Honor" rally at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. The aim of the event, explained the lachrymose TV personality, was to "come celebrate America by honoring our heroes, our heritage and our future."

As the Washington Post reports,

"For too long, this country has wandered in darkness, and we have wandered in darkness in periods from the beginning," Beck said, at times pacing at the memorial. "We have had moments of brilliance and moments of darkness. But this country has spent far too long worried about scars and thinking about the scars and concentrating on the scars.

"Today," he continued, "we are going to concentrate on the good things in America, the things that we have accomplished - and the things that we can do tomorrow. The story of America is the story of humankind."

Despite the presence of former Gov. Sarah Palin and many Tea Party trappings, the event was not political, or at least not in any conventional sense. Rather, the speakers called for bringing religion into the public square and using it as the guiding force in all aspects of American life.

Reason.tv was on hand to take in the day and talk with some of the thousands of people who showed up (crowd estimates were unavailable at the time of this writing, though the crowd felt thinner than the one at last year's Tea Party rally). Most of the people we talked to were openly skeptical of politicians of both major parties and agreed strongly with the religious bent of the rally, often arguing that some sort of religious orientation was necessary for what that saw as a return to national greatness.

p.s., I have stated on fellow blogs about my favorite speaker @ the rally and wish to present it here, finally after a search for it. This ladies' voice and message absolutely captivated me. (5:20 mark)

On This Day I Remember My Mom

Dear Mom,

Happy Birthday!

No Mom, I never have forgotten your day, not once and never. I know that you despise the limelight but as your youngest of three I decided to make my letter public so the world in the new millenia which includes many new friends may know of you and pray that you might approve.

Mom I cannot thank God enough that He made it possible that you are my Mom!

I am more than aware that I frustrated the bejesus out of you at times and you never yelled. They say 'patience is a virtue' and I know that is true now, all you had to say was (friend's this is true) "Wait until your Father get's home". At that very moment you spoke those word's you had me standing at attention and realizing I had messed-up and saying I was sorry. The patience you possess really shown in that you gave Dad the watered-down version knowing the lesson had already been driven home.

You either attended our volunteered at each and every extra-curricular event that came along to and including a Cub Scout Den Mother.

You helped, not told the answers in homework especially math as you are a math magician.

You taught and encouraged me in music as you loved it so, although not a player like you, your appreciation of the art carries on in me and every note I hear I remember you.

Your love of our animal friend's, especially dog's lives on in me as well. There was not one stray dog that I and my brothers brought home you would not turn away or talk Dad into allowing so long as the dog's wanted to stay.

You brought me up Catholic and even though late in my elementary school years changing from private to public schools you made sure Catechism was taught so as I may make the Sacrament of Confirmation.

I know I may disappoint you on that being I no longer follow that religion, but the very fact you made sure I was knowledgeable about Gods' Word is exactly why I remain a Christian.


Mom, I was young when you fell ill and eventually went into God's arm's but I was aware of what was happening to you. The disease that that you endured ravaged your body for seven years but not you mind or heart, this is an inescapable sight and feeling for even a youth. You did your utmost to shield me (us) from your despair and that is what I call true grit. Although your speech was gone your smile and kisses were not nor were the notes.

Mom, I mention the last part due to the fact that after Dad passed I became aware of some letter's you wrote to him during these turbulent times. I will not divulge such private communication's in a public forum except to say you did not fail me or my brother's, quite the contrary. The disease was not of your doing and we were and are knowledgeable of this fact.

Mom you succeeded in teaching me love, humility, humor, forgiveness, strength and the willingness to except people for who they are let alone the very shared lesson with Dad of the 'Golden Rule'.

There is one day set aside on the calender for Mother's Day and I do not understand this?
Mom, everyday is Mothers' Day in my heart and soul.

Apologia for the Left - James Lewis

Every now and again an article strikes a chord within myself as it conveys thoughts that I hold and wish to further highlight and further the audience of the author, the following falls within this category.

I and others are if not merely dismayed, are angered at the endless, unjustified apology tour of the left for the United States. We cannot be silent on this. Are we a perfect Union? By no means, but in an honest retrospective it is the left and whom they admire and align themselves with that needs to apologise and that is exactly what author James Lewis points out very clearly in the following (emphasis and pictures are those of Conservative Perspective).

Apologia for the Left

In the spirit of Obama the Apologist, I have to tell you how sorry I am. But not for myself, because I'm not responsible for anything. Just like Obama, I get to pin my apology on other people.

That might not be your idea of saying "I'm sorry," but it sure is his. "I'm sorry for your sins" is the gag Our Hero likes to pull, to cleanse himself of that per'lous stuff that weighs 'pon the soul. Guilt for the sins of others -- especially the ones who don't happen to look like him. I don't know if Obama ever feels guilty for something he's done wrong. I haven't seen it.

I must therefore apologize in all humility -- for the international Left, starting with Jean-Jacques Rousseau before 1780 and still going strong today.

Call it 2.3 centuries of systematic horrors by the Left to feel really sorry about.

Really. Sorry.

As in "kill myself from guilt" sorry.

This is not a Communist Manifesto, but a Communist Apologia. Like Obama said in Berlin, "Citizens of the world! I'm so sorry!" Didn't he say something like that?

But this is just a rough draft. Ask your liberal friends to add anything I missed. This should be a community effort, as our friends are always saying. Maybe this could start a viral apology around the dark side of the web.

My Take; Obama's Faith - Not Christian

Much has been bandied about whether or not Obama is a Christian or moslem or what have you. Contrary to the MSM's line as of late this is fair game in the realm of politics as it has precedence. Not only is that a true statement but it comes with well deserved due caution. Not withstanding the  perceived "freedom of religion" but rather the "freedom from religion".  There is a long history of abuses on peoples of all religions at the hands of others that may and have indeed been in opposition to those particular belief's.

There was much to-do about JFK being Roman Catholic at the time of his running for the same office as being he would be the first in that religion to reach the Office of the President of the United States. But even long before that, actually since the country's founding, candidates for or who had achieved such a post have worn their Faith as a sleeve.

Even during the last round of presidential primaries there were those in the media hyping-up Mitt Romney's Mormon faith and connection's. I am no fan of Romney but give him much credit in not denying his faith nor abandoning it but rather speaking honestly about his belief's.

Obama on the other hand claims Christianity, which in current sound-bites calms some and just simply accommodates others, mainly the MSM and what viewers they have left.

I present this video when Obama was just a senator and ask if this sounds Christian to you the viewer and leave up for you to decide,,,,

Now my knowing of the Holy Scripture (multiple Holy Book's on hand dating back decade's to Ireland), raised a Christian in the Roman Catholic tradition I can firmly state that is not, nor ever would be the word's uttered by a Christian. It is however considered heresy no matter what Christian sect one belongs to.

No, Hussein is not Christian, not knowing for sure what his faith if any is, then he must be referred to as a pagan.

This next video has been widely publicized and rightfully so, I will explain my reasoning for posting it yet again after the clip,,,(Further discussion below)

 

There are many things all of us say as a first response as that is our being and our state of mind when asked and  usually 99.9% accurate. 

I personally have never, ever, nor believe I ever will meet ANYONE ON THIS PLANET who mis-states his or her's faith! Compound that with a political hack correcting YOU on what you believe?

I have met folk's from around the world from very diverse culture's and not a one of them ever denied but rather proudly stated their Faith.

I am consistently challenged as to my religion and the answer is always none due to my opinion 'religion' is man-made. I have Faith in Jesus Christ , thus making me a Christian. The point there is I am honest about my relationship with God and Faith to Him and never ashamed to state so.

Obama has serious problem's with himself, his family and that of the electorate. If you cannot, or worse yet refuse to be honest with yourself what does that make you?

Addendum: In my commentary about "freedom from religion" it may sound as though I stray from the Constitution but this is not the case as the statement is exactly what the Founder's intended. If one knows of Islamic Sharia Law, let alone why The United States Declared Independence, then one will understand what the Founder's intent in that wording actually meant and should be understood to this very day .

Most intelligent and involved Americans who pay close attention to the political, economical and social fabrics of our shared Nation are well aware of this gentleman and scholar, Dr. Thomas Sowell and in this bloggers' humble opinion he cannot be heard or read enough.

As time permits, I encourage viewing all 6 segments of this interview which you will see at the end of segment one.

I further encourage to do as I do and copy and print out his columns and spread the word at work, to family, neighbor's, religious congregation's and politician's.
