As the title of this post suggests this selection was inspired by Nonsensible Shoes.
As I stated on "Shoes" blog post, I had always loved this song but not knowing many artists names had never known who recorded it, bad on me I know. I am better at numbers as opposed to names meaning dimensional numbers that is being in the Quality Control field relating to measurement. But by any measurement this is excellent!
Well "Shoes" solved that dilemma for me, that is the not knowing part, with a superb post much to my delight! Plese check it out.
You will know the tune, I hope, and will also relate the words to so many current situations especially our political one that I just had to share. One can take many messages from this, and should I might add, be they personal or political as all apply. I hope you enjoy!
2006,,,,, Wrong last

And we need to make sure we remind ourselves we got it wrong in the past, so we continue to get it right from here on out.
Christopher, I know you love music. Do you play an instrument?
RIP Rafferty.
Mark,,Unfortunately no, I do not play a musical instrument. I have dabbled in the past with Keyboard and Bass Guitar but circumstances at the time prevented any serious pursuit and development of these interests.
I am however quite content to enjoy the sounds produced by others with talent.
Indeed.
Thanks!
Thanks for the link Christopher. I like how you expanded on my thoughts. You also make a great point about how the song title can apply to so many things.
I think we share a lot of commonality - conservative politics, musical appreciation, and no musical skill. I'm undecided on a preferred candidate for 2012 but I do like Pence. So far, I'm more convinced who I wouldn't want to see as the Republican nominee than who is the best choice. So far.
Thanks again for the link!
All my pleasure Dean and the Thanks really go to you my friend! 8-)
OK, thought maybe we could jam sometime. :)
Let's get it right this time ... :-P :-P :-P
I Like Mike! How's that for a campaign slogan?
Here, here my good friend and Mr. Ryan is one of the people to get it going!!! 8-)
It's works as it did for Ike.
Another might be "Restore Common Sence, Vote for Pence"
A nice twist on a tribute to a great musician.
Thanks also for the link to Nonsensible Shoes which I hadn't seen before - I've taken a look and I like it. One to follow for me now. Good job, Christopher!
Cheers Eye and Thank You! 8-)
