James over at The Reaganite Republican managed to get me hungry and thinking with his latest post "Louisiana Turtle Burgers!" Hungry for and thinking about my favorite food that is - Bacon, and just what else it goes good with.
Well with little effort I found what I would consider comfort food. Granted these are most likely heart attacks in the waiting but hey, you only live once so might as well enjoy it.

A maple bacon and egg sandwich on mac and cheese pancakes.

Heart-A-Mac and Cheese
A layer of mac and cheese on the bottom, then chicken, another layer of mac, then beef, sun dried tomatoes, and bacon, with another layer of mac, and lastly a layer of mac and cheese with beef sprinkled on top and some parmesan cheese on top.

The Ark Burger
From Vaz’s Takeaway in Sydney Australia. Inside this awesome burger: a double beef patty, BBQ Roast Chicken, Scotch fillet steak, Chicken schnitzel, double bacon, and double cheese.

Death Sausage
3 pounds ground beef, 2 pounds country sausage, 2 pounds smoked bacon, 1 pound andouille sausage, 1 pound chicken strips, and 4 regular size hotdogs, seasoned with various sauces and spices such as BBQ sauce, baconnaise, and bacon flavored seasoning salt.

Hi Bunni! Nothing wrong with a Salad, good and healthy! I happen to enjoy many vegetables so long as they are accompanied with meat is all. 8-)
My wife makes this Czech thing called a "Spanish Bird"- basically a thin steak wrapped around egg, sausage, and pickle... then baked.
And they're REAL, real good lol
p.s.; I would be remiss if I did not mention my other Grandmother who handled the Desert end of the food spectrum. There was not one time she made a cake (which was often) that whether she made the frosting or in later years bought it that there was always SPOONFULS of it waiting for me!
