Busting Obama Gas Price Myths

Heritage Foundation - As Americans across the country gas up their cars for their Memorial Day getaways this year, their wallets will take a bigger-than-usual hit. That's because gas prices are up $1.06 from last year according to a study by AAA.

In fact prices have more than doubled since President Obama took office. And while the media has been slow to demand answers of the President, he has been busy trying to deflect attention away from his incoherent energy policy with a number of gas price-related myths. From overstating the impact of green energy to downplaying the devastating impact of his drilling moratorium, the President should spend less time trying to deflect criticism and more time working to ease pain at the pump.

Eurip, More and more should see this and all the info at the Heritage Foundation. 8-)

My answer to your question would be yes he is in fact lying. The reason for this is what Odie quoted (in paraphrase) him as saying and Obama did not qualify that by preceding it with "the truth of the matter is", by not doing so he was at that point actually telling the truth so the inverse must be a lie.

I agree. Obama (well, and most politicians for that matter) are habitual liars. What impresses me is that anyone believes those in power at all. Who is the bigger fool, the liar or the one who believe the lies?

It would have to be the latter I would surmise sadly. It is one thing to forgive ignorance but when it becomes willful ignorance well that is now deemed stupidity of which cannot be forgiven.

With all the information out in many forms on many topics concerning us all there is just no reason to take any politicians words at face value. All of us need to research any topic matter they speak on and not to do so is willful ignorance or stupid.

Hopefully when you do the price will have gone down some but thanks just the same for keeping a real vehicle running. 8-)
