This is why a republic of various states is such a wonderful idea. People vote with their feet. Liberal failed experiments like California and Illinois are dying, while conservative Texas shows the way to prosperity.

If you find yourself with a job interview in A-town, you have free lodging here.

If you find a good neighborhood, let us know, I've been thinking about going there too, and this seals it.

Happy Father's Day, Chris.

We've GOT to get Perry in the Whitehouse. Great governor, great leader and great American.
Did you happen to catch Col. Mike McCalister (FL) speech at the RLC, who is running for US Senate? If you didn't, it was quite motivating.

Texas is certainly one of the last sanctuaries of American Life.

@ Silver,,,I agree

@ Supi,,,I appreciate the thought but stopping by for breaking bread and a beer or two will suffice

@ Bunni,,,Is there really a such thing as a "Good neighborhood" anymore? Shit gal, I got guns and will make it so!

@ Mark,,,Yes I did and thanks for mentioning it, very good stuff!

@ Angel,,, Pride, I wear it daily!

@ Kid,,,I agree but at the same time am saddened as the entire U.S. was once called the same.

He's definitely one to watch.

When Texas created as many jobs as the rest of the nation we need to look at how they did it. Liberalism is an epic failure and Texas is just more proof that the conservatives are the only ones to get us bacxk too economic prosparity. But the liberals can't see what is right in front of them. That is why liberals are crazy.

Christopher - Conservative Perspective said...

@ Odie,,,I agree, Texas may be wise to talk him into staying?

@ Chris,,,We all know what works but it takes people such as Gov. Perry to actually put it into practice. As for liberals, well thats a lost case.

Perry -now at the top of my very short list--
TX (or any other state but CA-weather is great here though-not humid)is looking better and better...
Wonder if there are sections in TX that are high and dry---
C-CS

fwiw, Texans aren't completely happy with him. Granted, he's a million times better than oblabber but do your homework.
I stand my my statement that the Only thing that will do us any good is someone strong enough to rollback liberal departments and programs. Ed, Energy, EPA, etc.
Michele is the only one I've heard say she intends to do so.

@ C-CS,,, Being Perry has not announced his intention to run if at all I myself cannot count him on my list as of yet. What he said at this meeting though cannot be disputed nor can the situation on the ground in TX, both of which prompted this post and my desire to relocate in the Lone Star State.

@ Kid,,, Ever since this speech of Perry's I have learned much about what you state but please read above as to the reason for this post.

As of this writing Cain and Bachmann are the only two I am focusing on as stated previously they are the only two declared conservatives in the race thus far.

The bottom line is that whoever our candidate is, beating Obama is not the existential problem our candidate must beat the media!

Christopher - Conservative Perspective said...

@ Karen,,,If he sticks to this line of thinking,,,,

@ Lee,,, Is there really a difference????
