The following is a shoot-out clip from the film which I found to be excellent in it's execution and sound quality and even historical accuracy as this particular shoot-out portrayed in this actually did take place in Wisconsin,,,,,Now this got me to thinking on another movie with yet another shoot-out scene set in modern day, 'Heat' starring both Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro (and many more) that I thought the very same about this film in regards to quality in the production of it.
Now I wish I could have embedded the clip here on CP but that option was disabled by the owners of it so I am left leaving a link to it which I give as the description to the clip itself below. It runs about 10 minutes and really heats-up at the 3:30 mark but as those that know the film I am sure will attest, it is well worth the time to view it in it's entirety.
"Scene from Movie Heat (1995) directed by Michael Mann; This is considered to be the best action scene on the history of American cinema...enjoy."

It is rare that I take interest in what Hollywood churns out at least on the pages of CP other than for what might be related to a particular topic such as background. That stated and the gunfights aside, I found both of these films well worth my time to view and not only once.

Got any idea where I can buy one of those guns that never run outta bullets?
We may be needing some soon.
Well Aman (Jaded),, 'Boondock Saints' is not one I had heard of? I will have to look into it. But as your question suggests,,not very realistic.
A suggestion of course would to purchase as many weapons as possible along with the ammo to feed them as what is going to come is not a movie.

Christopher gone movie critic ... far out Dude.
Odie,,,I would suppose we all are really when it comes right down to it in our choices as what to we view, but like I stated "It is rare that I take interest in what Hollywood churns out at least on the pages of CP",,,,,

Christopher. Two Fantastic Movies.
Your theme here I think is realism as well as content. For this, I strongly recommend the movie Hombre A little slow getting started but about as real as it gets. Like a True Grit.
And for shooting scenes as well as a great movie The Professional
yup saw them too Chris..HUGE Johnny Depp fan here..heh :) Have a fabulous July 4th weekend u patriot u!..(hugs!)
Kid, I know of them both and are fantastic movies.
I had thought of the term 'realism' but chose not to utilize it due to it related more to a philosophical ideal. So, I went with the obvious 'historical' in the first film and a term I am more than familiar with 'quality' in both believing those terms would suffice to convey my thoughts. *DONT_KNOW*
Angel, Depp is a great actor (I would guess you may be a fan of his for more though? *DONT_KNOW* )
A Very Happy Independence Day/weekend too you as well!!!! 8-) 8-) 8-)
