I believe I owe all my blogging friend's an explanation as to why I have been somewhat hit or miss and or absent from commenting on your wonderful sites and posts.
Google awhile back had a problem and am sure most felt it where as some of us including myself could not log on to our own blogs. Well I just got that back. I have commented on a few to see if my smiling Leprechaun face showed up and thus far it has.
Needless to say I was very frustrated with Google about this! I was going to change the look of my blog anyhow but thought if I did during this dilemma it might change my status (signing in), but alas it did not.
During this 'brownout' I found I could not comment on many of your sites due to a rule on commenting on these sites of not being able to sign in under "Name" and this includes a site I am part of; Left Coast Resistance.
This situation created by Google did not prevent me from posting but it has been irregular due to a heavy work schedule (60-68 hours a week as of late) and I cannot thank all of you enough for sticking around and keeping up the good fight yourselves!
I sho down't fit dem dere deyscripshuns but halv sho dun payed my fer shcere uf dews in dis hur lyfe an' inten'in to kep on wurkin' 'ard!

Glad your back, Chris. Computer problems can be quite a pain in the butt. Don't worry I've been kinda busy as of late also. Have a wonderful day! :)
You work like I do...Even if I don't always leave comments, I usually check on my favorites. Glad you are full strength again Chris!
Welcome back!
Welcome back
Woodie Guthrie fan here too... shame about the communism bit lol
Thanks Teresa :) but have to say my computer is just fine,,this was GOOGLE problem >:o
Have a great day yourself and keep on bloggin' ! :)
Thanks Randy :) ,
If we work alike I wish that the company I work for hire you as I am basically surrounded by clock watchers. The more I work I challenges myself to how much more I can achieve and this bothers, well angers, my UAW coworkers to no end,,lol.
Checking favs, here again we are alike as I find myself checking my blogroll to get the latest before even Drudge.
Thanks Silver :) It sure was getting old copy and pasting my name and URL into forms just in order to comment but am thankful for those such as yourself that offer that option.
Thank you James :)
As to Guthrie, well the words and sentiment just seemed to fit *DONT_KNOW*
Yo. Got me the same prob. Puters at home don't recognize the fella who iz pushing their buttons sometimes. I can throw up posts, but cain't comment on the comments that make me laff so I don't post like I wud like. Can comment on some blogs I follow and sometimes I can't. Jeepers life iz complicated.
The work computer is aokay. Since the buck stops here, if I choose to do blogging at work, then the work piles up and then I don't get time off on the weekends to work at the hobbies I enjoy.
Oh well.
But glad you iz back to full strength.
Glad your back Chris.
Christopher . . . Just noticed a comment on your site from Teresa Rice. I'm wondering if her parents are from the Granite Bay area? If so I'd like to hear from her. . . . Thanks.
Thanks Jaded 8-)
My comp is fine (one and only for blogging) and fully protected so as stated this was Googles doing as all other application's and websites work and worked exactly as they should.
Google does have a note on this situation on the news on 'dashboard' so you might want to look into it there.
Thanks again.
Thank you Bump :)
Bump,, That is easy to make happen my friend,,just ask her,,,,

Thanks for the tip. I'll print it out, tape it to my dashboard and drive home to see iffen I can return to blogsville.
Ah, this is proof that you can't keep a good man down! And great to learn that the quiet period wasn't more serious or personal too.
Commendations on dealing with the situation with steely resolve and patience only a sane person could possess :)
PS - Gret Tune ! haha
Thank you Eye! Your words mean much to me as do your post's and appreciate both! :)
High compliment Kid and Thank you :) Believe me, the sentiment is returned!
Yea, It kinda reminds me of my Dads' stories (like most parents I suppose) like walking to and from school uphill both ways =-O
The lesson was learned though that no matter how hard things might get, stick with it and you will reach your goal(s)!
