Islam is a Cult, Not a Religion

I have pleaded with people to refer to islam as a cult for sometime now as calling it, falsely I might add, a "religion" gives it cover from criticism while at the same time giving it legitimacy.

I found a handy checklist created to recognize cultic traits and I'll be damned if it does not describe islam to a tee....

Characteristics Associated with Cultic Groups
Janja Lalich, Ph.D. & Michael D. Langone, Ph.D.

- The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law.

- Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished.

- Mind-altering practices (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, and debilitating work routines) are used in excess and serve to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s).

- The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (for example, members must get permission to date, change jobs, marry—or leaders prescribe what types of clothes to wear, where to live, whether or not to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth).

- The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s) and members (for example, the leader is considered the Messiah, a special being, an avatar—or the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity).

- The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society.

- The leader is not accountable to any authorities (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations).

- The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members' participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (for example, lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities).

- The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt iin order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.

- Subservience to the leader or group requires members to cut ties with family and friends, and radically alter the personal goals and activities they had before joining the group.

- The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members.

- The group is preoccupied with making money.

- Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities.

- Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.

- The most loyal members (the “true believers”) feel there can be no life outside the context of the group. They believe there is no other way to be, and often fear reprisals to themselves or others if they leave (or even consider leaving) the group.

Please, when referring to islam call it for what it is, a cult and an evil one at that.

'It's A Privilege To Have Worked With Such Talented People'

'It's A Privilege To Have Worked With Such Talented People,' Says Coworker Getting The Fuck Out Of There

EUGENE, OR—During his final day of work at R&C Media on Friday, consultant Carlton Davies told coworkers it was "an honor" to have worked with such a gifted and talented group of people, even though he's spent the past two weeks literally counting the hours until he could get the fuck out of there and never, ever come back. "I've learned so much from each and every one of you," said Davies, who for six months has told family and friends he's been "dying to leave that shithole of a company" and who, at exactly 5 p.m., peeled out of the office parking lot as the Kings song "Switching To Glide" blared from his car stereo. "It's truly been an honor." While eating a piece of goodbye cake in the office break room, Davies' boss Laura Marcus described his departure as an immense loss for the company, knowing full well she would replace him with an intern who would do the same work at half the cost.

American Court's - Pastor Terry Jones closing remarks April 22 2011

All must now be aware of Pastor Terry Jones of the quaran-burning event in Florida by now. Well he made a visit very close to me in the city of Dearborn, MI, in court that is, and the reason for the court session was free speech to determine if the Pastor had the right to it in Dearborn?

Some background for those unaware, Dearborn,MI is chalk full of Arabs comprising mostly of the muslim faith. In America it is or was known as the largest gathering of that group in North America outside the Middle East.

What follows is an excerpt video of the court proceedings in Dearborn,MI and no matter what one thinks of Pastor Terry Jones, he has very legitimate points,,,,,,

Donald Trump for President,,Part II - The Trump Enigma by Kerem Oner (American Thinker blog)

The Trump Enigma
by Kerem Oner

With the U.S. fiscal house of cards on, or at least near, life-support, America deserves to be able to make a clear choice on the direction it wishes to embark for the next four years. The Trump candidacy will make this at best a murky choice as no one really knows who Trump ideologically is.

Apart from his latest antics, including reviving the Obama birth certificate controversy, Trump is little bit of an enigma. Let's take a closer look at the apparent, and somewhat conflicting, ideology of Donald Trump.

Trump, in the past, said that Democrats are better for the country. He praised President Obama soon after he was elected. He has contributed more to Democrat candidates than Republicans in past election cycles, including far left candidates like Charles Rangel, Charles Schumer, and Anthony Weiner. He was registered as a Republican until 2000 when he apparently switched his party allegiance to the Democrat party. He holds many progressive stances on taxation (he is for a one time wealth tax), social issues (gay marriage for one), single payer healthcare, as well as what can be considered anti free trade positions alongside ideologically conflicting conservative stances. As a less meaningful anecdote, his daughter Ivanka is married to son of Charles Kushner, the staunchly partisan billionaire Democrat fundraiser (and a felon). In short, he is ‘at home' in the ultra-liberal environment of NYC.

These conflicting stances put Trump in the same category as Mayor Bloomberg and his ilk who have roamed the political spectrum in search of opportunities. One thing is clear: Donald Trump does not have the convictions of his own ideology because he is not about principles; he is clearly only about one thing: his own ego.

The coming elections are about America's future and the American people deserve unambiguous answers to critical questions in order to make an informed decision.

Is Trump a Democrat at heart who is out to assure that there will be no further conservative ascendancy? No one knows for sure.

Is he an egocentric crony capitalist? By all appearances, yes.

Can America survive a Trump presidency? Considering the critical juncture we find ourselves in, the answer is: 'no more than it can survive the presidency of any other egomaniacal opportunist regardless of party affiliation'.

One thing is for sure. The Republican establishment has to be wary of whom they are getting in to bed with. They do not only owe it to conservatives but to all of America.

An American City Role Model: SANDY SPRINGS, GEORGIA: THE CITY THAT OUTSOURCED EVERYTHING

I believe I have finally found a city to which I would like to move to mostly due to the fact there are intelligent people running it.

Reason.tv describes this story best below but I believe it not only shows how privatization does not only work but proves it does it at a lesser cost and absolutely nobody, citizens or workers are worse off due to it but rather the opposite.

reason.tv - While cities across the country are cutting services, raising taxes and contemplating bankruptcy, something extraordinary is happening in a suburban community just north of Atlanta, Georgia.

Since incorporating in 2005, Sandy Springs has improved its services, invested tens of millions of dollars in infrastructure and kept taxes flat. And get this: Sandy Springs has no long-term liabilities.

This is the story of Sandy Springs, Georgia—the city that outsourced everything.

Pet Peeves - We all have them,,,Open Thread

Pet peeves, as eluded to in the title of this post, I am sure we all as humans have them and some are probably as individual as fingerprints are. But then there are those that may be indeed so common amongst a population that it actually goes unspoken being it has become "commonplace".

The reason I bring this topic to bear is not political although I am sure there are many 'Pet Peeves' loaded into that subject alone. No, this derives from my personal experience(s) involving fast-food drive thru's.

With the fast rise in gasoline (petrol) prices this is a concern that is related but not the crux of my pet peeve or shall I say disdain for the 95.6% of the people in front of me at a drive thru.

I am one no matter where I shop for anything be it food or otherwise know exactly what I am doing at a particular establishment  I visit before I arrive and have more than sufficient money, in hand, to cover the cost of the intended, pre-planned purchase.

How is it a car holding either one person (the driver) or say four people who pull up to a drive-in speaker box and then have no clue whatsoever as to what they want? Then after five minutes of back and forth with the cashier/order taker (everyones engines running I might add) it turns out all they had to say was #2 or some combination of numbers as so clearly spelled out on not just one, but two menu's before they got to the squawk-box which at that point, in their face, is yet another menu!

It does not end there with these folk's, no, now you are in line (que) at the 'pay window' behind them and lo and behold they "find out" they do not have enough money to pay for what they took so long to order and the scramble begins. This is usually a two minute or more scramble for change; on the floor, seat, glove box, passengers,,,, really anywhere (I strongly suspect they knew and were looking for a "break"). Mind you, their engine, mine and all the people behind me are still running.

One of these days I am just going to ram them the hell outta my way and I don't care if a gallon of gas is $0.25 !

I apologize, just venting.

I have other pet peeves as I am sure all do and wish to mention just one more, traffic related, that plagues Michigan - TURN SIGNALS!

I should clarify, the lack of usage of them. What is so damned difficult about that little lever to operate indicating which frickin' direction you wish to turn your vehicle that some people cannot grasp the concept?????

OK, Those are my top two pet peeves, we all have them, do you have any you wish to share? I am quite sure, should you decide to vent, you will find that you are not alone.

CP Jukebox,,,,Tea Party Rise Again !

For those not of a weary heart, volume is required here,,,,

Lyrics to Little Fighter :

Are you cryin' tonight, are you feelin' alright, I'll tell the world that you are down on your luck, you were one of the kind, one who'd never give in, even when they put a price on your head,,,

Has anyone heard the tales you tell or seen the scars you wear, did anyone speak up when you fell, does anybody care,,,,

Rise again little fighter and let the world know the reason why
Shine again little fighter and don't let 'em end the things you do

And you were one with a cause, and a reason to be, you were a fighter for peace on this earth and you were never afraid you put your life on the line and you were always alone out on the sea,,,,

Withouta weapon in your hand you came to fight a war they took your life, but didn't know that you would never die,,,,

Rise again little fighter and let the world know the reason why
Shine again little fighter and don't let 'em end the things you do

Are you feelin' alright cause I care,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

----solo----

Rise again little fighter and let the world know the reason why
Shine again little fighter and don't let 'em end the things you do

Rise again little fighter and let the world know the reason why

Outta' my Wednesday Mornin' Mind,,,Lady Gaga vs. Lady Haha - Get up and Reset plus Musings

- Note to self; Do not 'Google' that term again at least as a image search,,whoa.! -

Lady Gaga

Lady Haha

Get up

Remember this Lady Haha blunder,,,,,
Insted of the Russian word for "reset" (perezagruzka), it featured a slightly different word (peregruzka) meaning "overload" or "overcharged".

- My good friend Brian brought up an interesting point about the Gaga clip pertaining to lip syncing and now viewing/listening to it I do not hear a discernible interruption that would be expected in the lyrics with such a fall, do you?

- It seems that Mr.Obama, by his own statement, misses his private life; "I miss being anonymous," Obama said in an interview with Hearst Magazines that was released today (4/12/2011).

Well if that is true, why the hell did he throw his hat into the ring for reelection then? Please Barry, by all means do the Nation, let alone the World a favor and return to obscurity and abandon the idea of a second term. For once be a man of your word and return to private life,,,,in Kenya preferably.

With the falling and failing and it being hump day I find it irresistible not to direct you to a funny and favorite falling episode, apparently embedding the video is now "unavailable" but if you choose to link to it, it is sure to give you a laugh (I hope),,,,,,

The Agenda - Grinding America Down

"When Idaho Legislator Curtis Bowers wrote a "letter to the editor" about the drastic changes in America's culture, it became the feature story on the evening news, people protested at the Capitol, and for weeks the local newspapers were filled with responses. He realized then... he'd hit on something. Ask almost anyone and you'll hear, "Communism is dead! The Berlin Wall came down." Thought the word communism isn't used anymore, this film will show the ideas behind it are alive and well. Join Bowers for a fascinating look at the people and groups that have successfully targeted America's morality and freedom in their effort to grind America down. It's a well documented AGENDA".

What if the Garden of Eden was actually San Francisco??

It is just a gorgeous day here in Michigan, I am in a great mood and well why not share a laugh,,,,

The funny part aside, as I mentioned San Francisco, this shit is getting real as Opie of American Perspective points out in 'San Francisco Dem wants to teach CA schoolchildren about gay historical figures'.

Islamic Terrorist Teacher in Germany vs. Former Terrorist now Christian, Walid Shoebat

Now lets hear from one who understands the Arabic language and culture,,,,,

I have been convinced for years with no prompting whatsoever that Islam is in fact a cult based in Satanic beliefs without even reading 'Satanic Verses' by Salman Rushdie beforehand. The last video/speaker, Walid Shoebat I tend to believe not because I am Christian myself but rather his clear understanding of the Arabic language.

One might say (and many do) the language in Revelations is Greek due to John being in Greece  (the island of Patmos to be exact) at the time of his writing, a message delivered by God. But assuming that would be to ignore that the message did come to John FROM God Himself.

I am no Biblical scholar by any means but highly doubt that God would send a message in 'our' terms no matter where a person might be geographically that received it, but rather a message the way HE not only saw it but also forewarns us of it through, as in this case John.

One can take what is offered here at face value or ignore it at will, but I will say doing the latter no matter your belief you do so at your own peril as the first video no doubt proves,,,,,sprechen sie deutsch?

Where Eagles Fly, Windmills Won't Survive by Nolan Finley

A couple of comments on my last post about electric cars were right in line with this commentary by Nolan Finely of the Detroit News. This is a quick read and shows the idiocy of the left regarding energy policy and their own in-fighting about it.

The pictures, video and emphasis are that of mine and those commenter's that inspired me to post the entire article will recognize why I did so,,enjoy......

Where eagles fly, windmills won't survive
Nolan Finely

Driving along a rural highway in Hillsdale County the other day, I decided for some odd reason to fight off boredom by taking a road kill census.

On this five-mile stretch of lightly traveled two-lane road, I tallied 13 carcasses: six deer, three raccoons, a possum, a skunk and two unidentified furry blobs.

It was a nightmarish slaughter, and one, I thought to myself, that may eventually doom the automobile. No way will the defenders of the animal kingdom allow this carnage to go unanswered.

My concerns were heightened the next day by two e-mails. The first announced the suspension of a major wind farm project in North Dakota because of fears it would deplete the local bird population.

Windmills, apparently, are second only to housecats as ravagers of our winged buddies.

The second e-mail confirmed why blocking windmills, the keystone of President Barack Obama's drive to get 25 percent of America's energy from alternative sources by 2025, is urgent environmental policy.

The message linked to a snuff film from the American Bird Conservancy. It tracked the slow and unsuspecting glide of a bald eagle into the deadly path of a windmill blade. You can imagine the outcome.

CP: Not the Eagle here but the same outcome,,,,,

The video will be part of a future commercial aimed at raising awareness of green energy's bloody secret — the conservancy claims 440,000 birds a year are sliced and diced by turbines.

Across the nation, environmentalists are blocking alternative energy initiatives that are designed to replace the coal, nuclear and oil plants that are being blocked by environmentalists.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Project No Project documents scores of hydroelectric dams, windmills and solar farms that are delayed or dead because of environmental objections, many of them based on the potential harm to wildlife.

In California, a solar panel field in the Mojave Desert funded by a $2 billion federal stimulus grant is in court because it may dismay 40 endangered desert tortoises. A corn-to-ethanol plant in Minnesota is targeted because it may taint trout streams.

Nearly every state has a well-meaning green energy project at risk because of environmental concerns.

That includes Michigan, where a Lansing hybrid coal/biomass plant has been deemed not green enough.

Dams are no good because they tame wild rivers; solar panels are ugly; windmills are ugly, too, and noisy to boot; and ethanol steals corn from the mouths of the world's poor.

Coal, oil and gas warm the planet. Nuclear is swell until there's an earthquake.

And all of them in one way or the other are hard on critters.

You may rightly wonder where we'll get our electricity if clean energy is as unacceptable as dirty energy.

So back to my carcass count. If the greens are willing to sacrifice their own energy agenda in the name of protecting wildlife, wait until they notice what's going on along the nation's roadsides.

We'll all be out of our cars and onto bicycles, and our best hope for meeting our electricity needs will be harnessing the pedal power.

Unless somebody thinks we can get away with cramming billions of gerbils into exercise wheels.

Associated Press asks; Are Electric Cars Worth the Price?

Two $40,000.00 electric cars charged by an expensive solar panel system(*),"That's enough to get the PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR to and from his job at a NEARBY UNIVERSITY.

By the way, we the taxpayer gave this high salaried, tenured leftist moonbat a $7500 subsidy to purchase that Chevy Volt.

(*) With a quick spin on Google I quickly found a solar panel website and captured this screen shot below;

From what I read it did not mention if the above pricing included installation but aside from that can you answer the AP's original question?

WI Unions Demonstrate Allegiance to Dues, Not Members,,Are You In?,,,,

I will be the first to admit this audio is quite boring and a little long but gives absolute credence to what the title suggests.

Granted the current debate is focused on 'public' sector union's but can guarantee the same attitude exists of 'private' sector union leadership and is exactly the same.

If you listen to the narrative it becomes very clear.

Once Gov. Walker introduced his Budget Repair Bill, the union leadership, unannounced to the membership, accepted all concessions this county requested in negotiations without exception, whereas before the bills introduction there was fierce debate. Now of course for this to be put into place it would take a majority vote by the membership to be ratified but now all of it is null and void due to the new bill.

At or near the end you will hear what would seem to be a union employee in utter dismay and confusion and even though I myself am not surprised I believe she is justifiable, at least, in her reaction. "Ignorance is bliss" as they say, that is until reality sets in,,,,,,,,,

I am a UAW member, not by choice, and have been saying this for years before I was union and ever since and stronger now that I see it on a daily basis.

Folk's, union or not, this is what Obama supports be it dues or taxes or both, the systematic depletion of your money into his coffers at the very expense of your livelihood,,,,are you in ?

Look at Us - Human Planet

My friend, fellow blogger and Patriot in the Great State of Wisconsin Tom Shuckman a Vietnam Veteran -Welcome Home- thought to send this out in an email, thank you Tom as I agree this is amazing!

The BBC did a good job with this trailer (I know, amazing) and advise full screen,,,,,

And you thought Mondays were bad????????????

Could lead codices prove ‘the major discovery of Christian history’?

Relax all, I am not repeating anything of last week as I believe, hope and pray all is well and good now and wish to add the following,,,,

-  A personal and public note to my Friend Teresa: I love 'ya gal and we agree on more than we could ever disagree in my humble opinion and wish to say Happy Sunday and God Bless! We are on the same team! - ,  With Sincerity, Christopher

Now, this belated news of discovery and or disclosure actually promotes (or could) the very underpinning's of Christianity itself, that is a real written recording during and after the time Jesus Christ walked among us humans!

I happened to be listening to my favorite late night radio program Coast to Coast AM With George Noory and was mesmerized by this topic. I ventured further (as always) and quickly found the following which I will provide the first two paragraphs,,,,,,,

British archaeologists are seeking to authenticate what could be a landmark discovery in the documentation of early Christianity: a trove of 70 lead codices that appear to date from the 1st century CE, which may include key clues to the last days of Jesus' life. As UK Daily Mail reporter Fiona Macrae writes, some researchers are suggesting this could be the most significant find in Christian archeology since the Dead Sea scrolls in 1947.

The codices turned up five years ago in a remote cave in eastern Jordan—a region where early Christian believers may have fled after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 CE. The codices are made up of wirebound individual pages, each roughly the size of a credit card. They contain a number of images and textual allusions to the Messiah, as well as some possible references to the crucifixion and resurrection. Some of the codices were sealed, prompting yet more breathless speculation that they could include the sealed book, shown only to the Messiah, mentioned in the Book of Revelation. One of the few sentences translated thus far from the texts, according to the BBC, reads, "I shall walk uprightly"--a phrase that also appears in Revelation. "While it could be simply a sentiment common in Judaism," BBC writer Robert Pigott notes, "it could here be designed to refer to the resurrection.",,,,,,,,,,

At the time of this post the radio show website had not updated (unannounced guest) but the interview with the guest is amazing as he has actually seen, opened and deciphered some of the now unsealed 70 codices!

If all is correct and I personally believe it is, it will be the turning point in all believing in Christ as our Saviour with not one person on Earth denying His, Jesus Christ not only existence or Relationship to God but that of His imminent return!

Dateline Detroit: Tales of Anger and Flight (Not White Flight or Anger)

No, this is not an April Fools Day post although I wish it were. These are two current stories from a local news outlet in the Metro Detroit area, my area.

Detroit's problems are very well known and are not exclusive by any stretch, but what is revealed in the second story answers the problems in the first one.

Thief Faces Angry Mob in Detroit Neighborhood
Came Back to the Scene After He Forgot Something

(WJBK) - A thief stole the rims off of a brand new Buick LaCrosse on Detroit's west side Wednesday. Then he had the nerve to come back after realizing he forgot the jack he used to strip the car!

But when he tried to retrieve the tool, he was greeted by upset neighbors. Fox 2's Simon Shaykhet picks up the story from there.

Former Resident of Detroit: "I Wanted to Stay, But I Got Tired"

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - She still keeps here Bible on the nightstand, but the .38 revolver is now locked in a box.

That’s because Paulette Bouyer, the brassy little grandmother with the pink lipstick, has left Detroit for the suburbs. Forever.

She is not alone. Over the past decade 238,000 people fled the city, many fed up with crime, crumbling buildings and a city government deaf to their cries for help. Like Bouyer, the majority of them are black and most of them have chosen to move to the overwhelming white suburbs, casting their lot with the whites rather than leave their lives to chance.

“I do have to say that I feel strange sometimes being a black person here, wondering what they’re saying or thinking about me,” she said. “But when they see that I am a quality person, a good neighbor, that feeling goes quickly away.

“Besides, it wears on your mind carrying a gun. I don’t want to hurt anyone.”

Bouyer, 63, was a member of a peculiar little sorority in Detroit. A church lady who carried a firearm. And it is not a small phenomenon. According to the Michigan State Police, more than 5,000 women over the age 55 legally carry a concealed weapon in the city.

You can’t say she didn’t try. Bouyer committed her life on the west side of Detroit, in the area of Greenview and Eight Mile, preferring to see sunshine on the horizon, only to be greeted by broken street lights. She endured the riot of 1967, the murder of her husband in 1977, the crack epidemic of the 90s, the blight of an abandoned nursing home at the end of her west side block in 2002. Then the drug addicts squatted in the foreclosed home next to hers. She endured the wild nights, the strange men, the house fire.

“I got tired of being lied to. Tired of the people in control telling me things were getting better. Trying to make it look a certain way even though it’s not.”

She stayed, and as a line worker at Fisher Body she was able to send her two sons through college. She also cooked for the hungry, attended city council meetings, trying to hold the neighborhood together. She even started a block club: Show You Care. Few did.

Then someone broke into her house in broad daylight, peeling the bars off the window. She got a gun and last year, she got gone.

“I got tired,” she said, stirring soup in her freshly painted kitchen, the archway of the door adorned with a God Bless Our Home doily. “I got tired of being lied to. Tired of the people in control telling me things were getting better. Trying to make it look a certain way even though it’s not.”

Cops that don’t come. Ambulances that come late. Drug addicts and punks loitering in the nursing home they promised to tear down but never did.

So she moved away. Boarded up her house. Put it up for sale. No takers. And so the city can count another vacant home.

“I love that memory of that city,” Bouyer said. “But that’s no longer the city I remember.”

Bouyer is happy in her suburban life. She walks in parks where children play. There are shops and restaurants. The insurance is cheaper and there is no tax on her electricity.

“Everything’s different here,” she says, as if she had moved to Europe. “They say hello at the gas station. Can you imagine that? I’m feeling fantabulous.”

No one person makes a city. But the loss of an honest and decent woman like Bouyer is a devastating one for Detroit. But Detroit’s loss is Bloomfield Township’s gain. Good neighbors always are.

Detroit proper has not elected any leadership outside the democratic party since 1961 (thats 50 years for those in Rio Linda).

Concider if you will the excerpted quote of Paulette Bouyer above, this begs the repeat of Albert Einsteins now infamous definition of insanity; "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".
