Hey, How about a 2nd Amendment Rule # 5,,,,,

If you are into shooting you have to see the whole video,,,,

Memorial Day 2011

I was thinking about just what to say on this solemn occasion and then I heard a report over the radio that spoke about how few Americans even realize what the day is all about. This is truly a sad situation and most can easily deduce as to why this is.

That little radio report made myself look back at what I posted last year and I found that it went to some extent to try to remedy what I recently heard.

So since my thought's and heart have not changed toward our Military be they fallen, Veterans or current I wish to repost last years message in the hope that in doing so I have done my part as little as it may be to reach those mentioned above,,,,,

To those of you that have never attended a funeral for a fallen U.S. Military Service Member be they current or veteran you may not appreciate why this day is forever embedded in the hearts, minds and souls to those that have and many, many patriots as well.

The honors displayed for the valiant souls at these solemn occasions is not only deserving but extremely moving as every possible emotion known to mankind is stirred and brought to the surface, including that of patriotism reaching unbelievable levels.

Although patriotism is an honorable virtue and emotions natural, it is my sincere wish that you never have to endure the pain that comes with such a loss, not only to your family but that of an entire nation.

The loss of one is a loss to all, never doubt that.

On this day (weekend) there are numerous parades (many of which I marched in proudly myself in my youth) and sales abound but both really miss the point. The parades come the closest to honor those that have served and fallen along with many fly-overs by the U.S. Air Force but the sales cheapen the day in my humble opinion. Yes the economy is bad, needless to say, and all are looking for deals but I would sooner sit in quiet contemplation and prayer about whom and for we enjoy such freedom to begin with.

From the Colonial Army and Navy to today's worlds greatest fighting force known to mankind, that being the modern United States Armed Forces; U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corp. and U.S. Coast Guard. These folks are your neighbors, friends and family that have defended this nation in the truest form; life and limb with the utmost bravery along with their families sacrifice as well.

I and many in this nation have had the unfortunate experience of attending such a send-off as mentioned above to those who have served this entire nation valiantly and with honor.

The following is a piece titled 'Taps' which is played at such solemn occasions, but this is the full version played by a young lass which many are not aware of existing, being the abbreviated version is what the Military utilizes.I do not mind saying that every time I hear 'Taps' no matter the length or version it produces tears and rips at my heart and soul as I remember not only my father but all those who have fought for freedom in defense of our nation.

Officially,,,,,,,

“Taps” Buglers, past and present, at Arlington National Cemetery who sound the twenty four notes of Taps in all types of weather paying tribute to those who have served. Music is “Amazing Grace” arranged by Jari Villanueva and performed by the USAF Band. “Taps” is sounded on an original Civil War clairon."

I Am Curious; CP Poll - Who Do YOU Want as the Next President? / Open Thread

Conservative Perspective (Christopher) has yet to say who I support in the current field of prospective candidates for the GOP nomination for POTUS in 2012 be they declared or as yet to be as the field is ever changing which I believe is a good thing (thus far).

Most blogs I follow seem to jump (as does the MSM including Fox) when one joins the field of candidates or drops out and this is fine and I would say understandable but yet confusing at the same time.

Those who might read this blog would know I was an early proponent of Rep. Mike Pence (R-IND) to throw his hat into that particular ring but that hope was quashed by Pence himself (again, thus far). So being that the case I have, when commenting elsewhere or posting on this site have chosen to alert and or remind people of the failing's that I see as clear to the choices at hand when and if I see "more of the same", meaning RINO or flat out liberal using a RINO label so that America loses, again.

Those who know of President Reagan's word's will think me unwise in this endeavor but I would beg to differ as he was speaking about real Republican's in the real sense of the founding of the party, not what we suffer through today, insufferably I should say.

The question of; "Just who do you want as the next President?" is obviously unscientific in result should you offer your opinion but is an honest question just the same. I offer no names (besides Pence above, sorry my bad) and all are welcome to name declared, undeclared and those you wish would jump in.

Editors Note: I will not "attack" anyone on their choice and all can comment at will as to the reason for said choice if they so choose to do so.

This is about choices and wishful thoughts if you will in some cases, and any dissent on anyones part toward another's choice should be considered as adult conversation on what is probably the most important election ever in our lifetime, if not since the American Revolution it's very self.

To my friends in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and elsewhere, your reply is welcome as well as what happens here in the U.S.A. affects your Nation's as well, and I myself am curious to hear how you folk's abroad see things shaping up here although you have no vote on the matter.

So, what say you,,,,Just who do you want as the next President?

I offer some patriotic music for contemplation being the American Holiday we celebrate this weekend,,,,

Busting Obama Gas Price Myths

Heritage Foundation - As Americans across the country gas up their cars for their Memorial Day getaways this year, their wallets will take a bigger-than-usual hit. That's because gas prices are up $1.06 from last year according to a study by AAA.

In fact prices have more than doubled since President Obama took office. And while the media has been slow to demand answers of the President, he has been busy trying to deflect attention away from his incoherent energy policy with a number of gas price-related myths. From overstating the impact of green energy to downplaying the devastating impact of his drilling moratorium, the President should spend less time trying to deflect criticism and more time working to ease pain at the pump.

High Court to California: Cut Prison Inmates

I must say that the U.S. Supreme Court is so wrong on this that I lack word's to describe it further, but that said one has to address the State of California and it's own 'progressive' policies to begin with.

One has to ask of the entire prison population in California; Just how many are illegal aliens to begin with?

Being a betting man myself I would say at least half of that particular population is in fact just that, illegal, and that is before they even committed the crime for which they were incarcerated. Now of course that would be a suckers bet given the actuality of "Sanctuary Cities" that were popularized and strongly embraced in that State years ago and to this very day I might add.

This action by the SCOTUS does not bode well at all for CA nor the Nation as a whole as now a precedent has been set and you can thank a liberal for this the next time you meet up with one at their loved ones funeral.

A final note to CA as a good friend suggested regarding this; Yes release them but deep inside Mexico, it's called DEPORTATION!

Do You Have That "Feeling"?

Most had heard of the preposterous "prediction" for this day, Saturday, and of course nothing will transpire but this question I intend to raise has nothing to do with that.

Actually it has nothing to do with politics or current event's either or even religion for that matter at least as far as I know concerning the latter.

I have abstained thus far from posting on this "feeling" as it is just that, a feeling and far be it from a conservative such as myself to react to feeling's. But this is for me, as a life long friend and commenter stated, is for himself one that "cannot be shaken".

For me this 'feeling' is not foreboding but one of which (again, I dislike this term) feel as though something big is going to happen? I do not know why, what or how I have this feeling as I cannot put my finger on it but know I have had it for over three years now. This does not affect my life at all except for the fact it is always in the back of my mind and has actually sharpened, I believe, my focus on everything.

Now that focus I speak of may or may not have bled through in my post's or comment's to other's site's but I ask;

Do you have that "feeling"?

I know I am not alone on this 'feeling' as more and more are indeed speaking about it and I am talking about complete stranger's to myself in the normal course of a day; Check-out line, filling gas tank and work..etc.,,,?

So, give me a shout,,yea or nea,,you got that feelin'?

WHEW!

Well still here! So I guess it's time to mow my lawn,,,,,,,,

Saturday Rapture?

I need not go into detail as I am sure most reading this have heard of the prediction of the rapture on Saturday May 21.

Now I am not one to believe this as I ascribe to the information within the pages of the Holy Bible that basically informs us that no man can nor will know of this time until it actually happens so that is that, but I have been having some fun at work with this such as a ever filling target with a red marker on the calender (almost completely red now,,lol)

The real reason for this post is that this 'prediction' has also sparked conversation about it at work as well and I found even people I thought educated to and including in the Holy Scripture lacking in basic knowledge of it or should I say very commonly known subjects contained within the Bible.

Long story short, to my astonishment I was speaking with a colleague about this and he said "Well whenever it (the Rapture) happens and find you are left behind just know not to join Michaels army".

I said, "WHAT?!? Surely you are mistaken, Archangel Michael is exactly whom one would want to side with or else be damned"!! He went on a bit in defending his position saying Michael was a fallen angel and I said "No you have the wrong angel, Lucifer or more commonly known as Satan is the fallen angel".

My simple point here is that since we cannot know when the end times are going to occur please know whose side you are on as it just may save your eternal life!

Maybe not tomorrow but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?

Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

MATTHEW 24:3-14

Understanding Liberals - Walter E. Williams

Most who may read this blog are more than aware of Walter E. Williams and his achievements and most likely admire the man as I do.

For all of his accomplishments in academia and most notably in economics I find what I most admire is his trait to make an often boring (due to the nature of numbers) and drawn out subject matter on economic philosophy into very simple terms that even those graduating from kindergarten can easily understand.

If cloning of humans were possible, legal and I cannot forget moral I would suggest we start with Mr. Williams and hire each one for every single teaching position K-12 and that of higher education.

The following article by Mr. Williams was posted on the Patriot Post and I took the liberty of adding some visuals, enjoy.

Understanding Liberals
By Walter E. Williams · Wednesday, May 18, 2011

The liberal vision of government is easily understood and makes perfect sense if one acknowledges their misunderstanding and implied assumptions about the sources of income. Their vision helps explain the language they use and policies they support, such as income redistribution and calls for the rich to give something back.

Suppose the true source of income was a gigantic pile of money meant to be shared equally amongst Americans. The reason some people have more money than others is because they got to the pile first and greedily took an unfair share. That being the case, justice requires that the rich give something back, and if they won't do so voluntarily, Congress should confiscate their ill-gotten gains and return them to their rightful owners.

A competing liberal implied assumption about the sources of income is that income is distributed, as in distribution of income. There might be a dealer of dollars. The reason why some people have more dollars than others is because the dollar dealer is a racist, a sexist, a multinationalist or a conservative. The only right thing to do, for those to whom the dollar dealer unfairly dealt too many dollars, is to give back their ill-gotten gains. If they refuse to do so, then it's the job of Congress to use their agents at the IRS to confiscate their ill-gotten gains and return them to their rightful owners. In a word, there must be a re-dealing of the dollars or what some people call income redistribution.

The sane among us recognize that in a free society, income is neither taken nor distributed; for the most part, it is earned. Income is earned by pleasing one's fellow man. The greater one's ability to please his fellow man, the greater is his claim on what his fellow man produces. Those claims are represented by the number of dollars received from his fellow man.

Say I mow your lawn. For doing so, you pay me $20. I go to my grocer and demand, "Give me 2 pounds of steak and a six-pack of beer that my fellow man produced." In effect, the grocer asks, "Williams, you're asking your fellow man to serve you. Did you serve him?" I reply, "Yes." The grocer says, "Prove it."

That's when I pull out the $20 I earned from serving my fellow man. We can think of that $20 as "certificates of performance." They stand as proof that I served my fellow man. It would be no different if I were an orthopedic doctor, with a large clientele, earning $500,000 per year by serving my fellow man. By the way, having mowed my fellow man's lawn or set his fractured fibula, what else do I owe him or anyone else? What's the case for being forced to give anything back? If one wishes to be charitable, that's an entirely different matter.

Contrast the morality of having to serve one's fellow man in order to have a claim on what he produces with congressional handouts. In effect, Congress says, "You don't have to serve your fellow man in order to have a claim on what he produces. We'll take what he produces and give it to you. Just vote for me."

Who should give back? Sam Walton founded Wal-Mart, Bill Gates founded Microsoft, Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer. Which one of these billionaires acquired their wealth by coercing us to purchase their product? Which has taken the property of anyone?

Each of these examples, and thousands more, is a person who served his fellow men by producing products and services that made life easier. What else do they owe? They've already given.

If anyone is obliged to give something back, they are the thieves and recipients of legalized theft, namely people who've used Congress, including America's corporate welfare queens, to live at the expense of others. When a nation vilifies the productive and makes mascots of the unproductive, it doesn't bode well for its future.

Detroit Slips Further into Decadence,,,3 Dogs Shot, 2 Killed, in Detroit Neighborhood

"If you can't keep your animals safe, what does that say about keeping yourself safe."

I would advise this neighborhood to get armed and fast if they are not already as this sounds to me these shooters were ridding themselves of natural home alarm system's. Criminals are industrious as they can disarm almost any home alarm system but the only way to disarm a dog is to well,,,,,,,,,,,,,

These shooter's will eventually have to meet their maker and I would prefer as a taxpayer that that meeting be accomplished with a bullet between their eyes from a legal gun owner whose dog was gunned down.

Indeed, what goes around comes around.

Dumbest Idea Ever?

Clinton: Create Internet agency

Politico- Bill Clinton doesn’t like all the misinformation and rumors floating on the Internet. And he thinks the United Nations or the U.S. government should create an agency to do something about it.

“It would be a legitimate thing to do,” Clinton said in an interview airing Friday on CNBC.

The agency, Clinton said, would “have to be totally transparent about where the money came from” and would have to be “independent” because “if it’s a government agency in a traditional sense, it would have no credibility whatever, particularly with a lot of the people who are most active on the internet.”

“Let’s say the U.S. did it, it would have to be an independent federal agency that no president could countermand or anything else because people wouldn’t think you were just censoring the news and giving a different falsehood out,” Clinton said.,,,,,,Read more

One does not need to read anymore unless simply for a 'face-palm' or a WTF moment due to just who is pushing for this, Slick Willy, the guy busted as POTUS for lying and was busted in no small part due to the internet by none other then Matt Drudge on the Drudge Report.

But in the meantime the guy in the video below does a good job at explaining the absolute idiocy of this 'idea',,,,

Man Sues Funeral Home Over Mother’s ‘Humiliating’ Burial

Did you catch this story? I know it is still Mother's Day but please read on,,,,,,,

CHICAGO (CBS/WBBM) – A man has sued a Chicago funeral home and a cemetery over what he claims was the botched body preparation of his mother, and a humiliating burial experience.

Morrow claims that after his mother died on April 5, the funeral home improperly embalmed her, leaving brown liquid leaking from her skull.

Morrow says he was also told his mother would need an extra-large casket and burial vault or a double grave site. The woman weighed 230 pounds.

At the April 9 funeral, the gravesite ended up being too small for the oversize casket, and ended up being damaged in an attempt to force it into the grave, the suit said.

The suit claims Morrow’s family was humiliated and insulted due to the negligence of Mount Hope.

The suit seeks more than $50,000 in damages. Representatives of Taylor and Mount Hope were unavailable for comment.

Now what prompted me to post about this was not really the story itself but rather a small string of comments to it that honestly got me laughing,,,,,,

I know, macabre humor especially on Mothers Day Weekend but ya' gotta admit that those comment's are funny.

Justice for Osama - When Pat gets it right, man he really gets it right!

A Simple Letter to Mom

Mom,

It gets harder and harder by the years to say goodbye.

You gave me so much; Brothers, Faith in Jesus Christ, humor, humility, love, music, education, fun and love for dogs and so much more and I cannot express the word's that would be sufficient enough to say thank you.

I may weep but that is of gratitude as I know you are in my Soul and that in itself is a Blessing.

I miss you dearly every day, love you always and pray God saves a seat for me right next to you and Dad.

Your Youngest With Much Love, Christopher

Karen at the Eastern Rite Spells it out,,,The Sainthood Express Lane

I have inquired and received permission to repost Karen Howe's piece from the Eastern Rite on the canonization of John Paul II. Karen did her homework on this and I personally agree with every word and ask you give it a read and visit her site.

Is it just me wondering what this was all about? Seems not. Please ponder the following,,,,,,

The Sainthood Express Lane

Pope John Paul "the Great" is being beatified.

A blog entry I wrote in 2008 regarding this farce says everything I'd still say today, so I'll reproduce it here:

According to Monsignor Slawomir Oder, it is "likely" that the late John Paul II will be beatified by the spring of 2009. Beatification is the first step in the process of officially declaring someone a saint, and Monsignor Oder (a Pole, surprise surprise) is the "postulator", or the person in charge of promoting the cause of the late pontiff.

In the case of John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI waived the rule that five years must pass after someone's death before the cause for sainthood can be taken up for him or her. In fact, the late pope was hardly in his tomb before the process was begun in May of 2005. Many Catholics were already howling for the mild-mannered former actor-turned-priest to be canonized. He's often touted by said Catholics as John Paul "the Great."

At this point, I'm going to ask: what did Pope John Paul II do that was so great? I'm not being sarcastic here, I really want to know.

There's a good reason to have the five year rule, and there was also good reason to have a "Devil's Advocate", who would bring up the reasons why a candidate for sainthood should be rejected (this position was likewise done away with-- by John Paul II, in 1983). The five year rule ensured that enough time would pass that canonization wouldn't be a hasty and purely emotional response (take note, all you "JP Two, We Love You" Catholics), while the Devil's Advocate ensured that candidates for sainthood were actually, well, saintly.

I'm not a canon lawyer, but I would like to bring up a few reasons why I believe John Paul "the Great" should not be canonized. I will play Devil's Advocate. While I won't deny that he did some good things, it is my belief that he also did a lot of damage. I also contend that he deserves little, if any, credit for much of the good work attributed to him.

Because I don't want this to turn into a book, I'm going to keep things fairly general, but give some specific examples.

#1. John Paul II is credited with doing things that he never really did.

For example, that he was involved with the Jewish Underground during World War II. This isn't really true... he was involved with people who were helping Jews escape, but he himself was busy with his seminary education. I guess you could call this credit by association?

In fact, while Poland was being invaded by the Nazis, and while Poles attempting to defend their homeland were being decimated, seminarian Wojtyla wrote a letter to a friend about how busy he was with his studies. This excerpt shows remarkable self-absorption in the face of his country's plight.

Then the pope, as Father Karol Wojtyla (he was ordained a priest in 1946), is also credited with being a tireless fighter of Communism. In fact, he never uttered a single word against Communism, in public or in private-- not even when his mentor, who did speak out against Communism-- was arrested. At this time, many priests were installed throughout Polish diocese as Communist spies. The fact that Father Wojtyla was monitored so closely and never got into any trouble is evidence that he never even criticized Communism, much less fought it. Not until he became Pope would he be forced to wag his finger at Marxists. In fact it was they who helped get him elected Pope.

#2. John Paul II turned a blind eye to corruption and suffering.

The day after John Paul I discovered dirty dealings going on in Vatican Bank and was going to launch an investigation, he just happened to die. John Paul II claimed he took the name of his predecessor because he planned to continue his policies, yet he put the kibosh on just about everything John Paul I had been planning to do-- including the investigation into the corruption in the Vatican Bank. Indeed, turning his head would be his standard response to pretty much all corruption in the Vatican.

John Paul II was also sometimes insensitive to the plight of persecuted Catholics. For example: in the early 80's, the government of El Salvador persecuted Catholic clergy and religious-- priests were being murdered and nuns raped. When priests there appealed to John Paul II for help, the pontiff suggested that they try dialoguing with the government (yeah, this would be the same government that was carrying out the above-mentioned atrocities). I mean, hello???

#3. John Paul II contributed to the growing confusion of the faithful.

While he preached faithfulness to the Church's teachings, he promoted religious relativism through his actions. Remember when he kissed the Qu'ran and allowed the Dalai Lama to "bless" him? He was obsessed with false ecumenism, and failed to censure proponents of modernism and heresy within the Church (though he didn't mind censuring Traditional-minded Catholics who followed Archbishop Lefebvre).

You can't pray with heretics and non-Christians and then wonder why documents affirming that the Catholic Church is the true Church are met with surprise and offense. That's what is known as a double message.

This is an extremely abbreviated list of reasons for Pope John Paul II not to be canonized, the first two of which can be delved into further in David Yallop's book The Power and the Glory: Inside the Dark Heart of John Paul II's Vatican. This is not a book that warm-n-fuzzy, novus ordo-loving, "John Paul the Great" Catholics will like, but truth is sometimes hard to face.

To be fair, he did have his good points; for example John Paul II was a strong promoter of the culture of life, and wouldn't even discuss women in the priesthood. John Paul I had apparently been considering relaxing the Church's position on artificial contraception in addition to cleaning up the Vatican. Maybe that was part of the reason why his papacy ended when it did; after all, the dogma of papal infallibility means that the Pope is prevented from formally teaching heresy in doctrine and morals.

I'm not trying to trash John Paul II here, but his faults as well as his virtues should be known. All of these Catholics who are yelling for him to be canonized are quite frankly doing so, I believe, for sentimental reasons: he was very charismatic. Let's, however, not confuse personal charisma and popularity with sanctity.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Editors Note; Thank you Karen for permission to repost your piece and will reiterate; I do indeed agree with each and every word. I am of the same thought as not in trashing his name and highly disagree on this "fast track" and also the abolition of the "Devils advocate".

To all those unaware of the 'Devils advocate' it simply means to just take the other side of a debate to see if it makes sense and in this scenario, in the eyes of God. To accomplish this you have to immerse your brain with the opposite view of you own. Once achieved you may still differ but all hearing you will have a very new perspective on the situation to be sure or what most would deem reality.

This has sadly been set aside in the Roman Catholic Church not on just this issue but in general, if they (the Vatican) brought back the 'Devils Advocate' on all issues confronting the world they would enjoy much more respect, that is if they actually discuss the issues.

I play the 'Devils Advocate' many times at work (and I use that phrase) as I deal with the membership of the UAW by making them think like the owners. When they put themselves into that view I am usually met with silence. As they say "silence is golden", this is not to suggest voicing one's opinion is bad but rather the one being silent is now thinking and that indeed is golden.

WOW ! Zo Wraps up the "Debate" and then some,,,,UPDATE,,Testament to my view courtesy of 'The Libertarian Patriot'

For those who might be just waking up or those in Rio Linda you may have to pause some in this as Zo is fired-up about the "debates" in SC. this past week,,,,,,,,

I myself agree with the majority of what Zo is saying here on both Cain and Santorum and Paul for that matter, but to be honest I disagree to a point as it comes to the "drug" issue.

Please let me qualify my difference respectively. I see the entire "war on drugs" a complete waste of money and resources especially in light of our economy and the general war on terrorism we are engaged in and make no mistake the latter circumstance is a real war.

Calm down fellow Patriots. I am not speaking about cocaine, heroin or any other hard-core drug use but that of Marijuana. I have seen the benefits of it to those in the throws of cancer, no not life-saving but true comfort in pain control, a real appetite resulting in gaining weight and color in skin in their last years, months or even days.

I know people who are not sick and do not drink or smoke any other tobacco product but do smoke this 'illegal' substance and function just fine as you and I and that includes holding a job. Oh, and to be totally honest, in my youth I not only tried it but unlike Slick Willy I am honest, I inhaled. Now that was a big boost to Burger King and the Hostess Corporation.

My last point there brings me back to the economy on this subject, taxes. If made legal and taxed (for those of age of course), Marijuana that is can you imagine what the States would bring in as to revenue let alone the Fed's? What about the savings in not incarcerating people (making them criminals) for a 'joint'. People speak of laying off police personnel in this economy, well if the tax revenue from legal Marijuana sales (much like cigarettes) were added to the mix we could keep them all (with the golden parachute retirements) to fight actual crime.

I am Conservative and some may see this as Libertarian but one thing is for sure I am a realist; stop this taxpayer money-sucking, duplicitous police agency "war on drugs"!

Sure, go after the stuff that kills people but for God's sake make Marijuana legal, grow it, tax it and heres an idea,,export it! Talk about a cash crop! Grow Baby Grow!

I know, kind of a rant but Zo got to me, as always I welcome all comments including Zo if he see's this.

AP = All Propaganda, Associated Press Report on the Economy News

Do some people really just gloss over the "news" or do they really pay attention?

With the news of new jobs and unemployment going UP, the AP slides out this gem of a report with little reality but with much propaganda.

Not withstanding the screenshot above which deceives the casual viewer in the deletion of the complete picture of :

-A less than lackluster number of 244,000 added in April which is woefully insufficient to be deemed a "recovery"

-Unemployment Rate RISES to 9%

-Third month of what can only be considered Stagnation

The AP does even better at propaganda in the description of the video report which I am sure most would not read:

"The economy is in the midst of the biggest hiring spree in five years. But the unemployment rate rose to 9 percent in part because some people resumed looking for work."

Read that again.

If people 'resumed' looking for work well that maybe due to them needing to as they are no longer eligible to collect Unemployment Benefits and thus the 'official' unemployment rate would go DOWN, not to mention the "hiring spree" the AP suggests.

Here is the report if you desire to watch it, I am sure there is more to tear apart but at this point I suggest Navy Seal Team 6 drop by the AP headquarters for some practice.

Congratulations Canada! Canada's Conservatives Score Massive Election Win

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada's Conservatives stormed to a decisive victory in Monday's federal election, winning 54 percent of the seats in Parliament and securing a stable four-year term in power after vowing to focus on the economy.

The Conservatives grabbed 167 seats in Canada's Parliament, well above the 155 they needed to transform their minority government into a majority, according to provisional results. They won about 40 percent of the vote, beating expectations.

The victory, a relief for Canadian financial markets, left support for the separatist Bloc Quebecois in tatters and the party's leader without a seat. Bloc Quebecois advocates independence for the province of Quebec.

The Liberals, who have ruled Canada for more years than any other party, were reduced to a dismal third place showing with their worst ever seat haul.,,,,,,

Who says we can't learn something from our neighbors to the North? Way to go Canada!!!

Sharia-Compliant Dearborn,MI Residents React to OBL's Death ?????

There are some interesting quotes in the accompanying article linked above but find actions speak louder than word's. If the violent reaction to last weeks visit to Dearborn by the controversial Pastor Jones is any indication then I find these individuals word's completely hollow.

Buried at Sea - A Ghost is Born (Added Fox News Blunder)

The bumbler-in-chief has fucked-up again by bowing to the east in burying OBL at sea "within 24 hours in accordance to islam". They had better have rock-solid, indisputable proof of his death without the body.

Do not misunderstand, I hope this is fact and pleased of the news but there will be skeptics and deniers in the islamic world who will claim to have seen him alive and well in the coming days and if we had him on ice in Johns Hopkins then these claims could easily be disproved.
