I am in no hurry to find myself in such a situation as Dr. Neal was but having said that, well when I am down or in a very bad spot with health as in life threatening (and once was with no NDE) yet pull through I believe there is a reason for it and it is simple - God set the plan and He ain't done with me yet.
Believe what you may in this life but I choose to believe in a higher power that put us all here to live out a life in whatever circumstance we find ourselves in. Good, bad or ugly (and we have all been there) it is what it is, but what we do with these circumstances in this life is what counts. Choose wisely.

I had me one uv dem near death experiences meself quite a few years ago.
Scary to say the least, but once't I divorced her it was like heaven on earth!

Not exactly what the point is here but understand the sentiment as this goes to the "circumstances" of which I speak.
