Six days and counting for the People of the Great State of Wisconsin to make the same exact decision they did in the Fall of 2009; Elect or better stated in this case, RETAIN Governor Scott Walker.
I am not a resident of Wisconsin but rather Michigan so I have no real dog in this fight. But one thing I do see going on in Wisconsin is very relevant and of concern to all 50 States and that is putting decision making powers back into the hands where it belongs - The People.
Governor Walker is doing exactly what he campaigned on and subsequently the People of Wisconsin elected him to do; stop the bleeding of taxpayer money into "public sector unions" and their bloated benefits even after retirement. This situation is entirely out of hand not only in Wisconsin but the entire Union.
It is rare (I believe most on either side of the isle would agree) that any politician lives up to what they promise on the campaign trail but in this case this is actually what Gov. Walker has done and again, was elected to do. That last point cannot be reiterated enough mind you.
This 'recall election' in Wisconsin on June 5th is not only crucial to the stability of their State but all others (outside of California, Illinois and New York). If given the chance to fulfill his first term Gov. Walker will go down in history of leading the way for all governors and Americans on exactly what "good government" is (a lost and since perverted term) and means and the real benefits the people get for their taxes; better service and results from all public entities be it teachers to park attendants at lower rates.
Governor Walker is turning his State from the people working for the state (unions) back to where it should be, the state working for the people.
That is the bottom line on this 'recall' election and all Americans would be wise to learn from it less your State becomes California, Illinois or New York.
If you are capable to contribute to this effort then please follow the link. But if not and you have friends, family or business related individuals in Wisconsin I encourage you to reach out to them not only showing your support for Gov. Walker but actually for them being they will be the real winners should he be able to serve out his first term as duly elected back in the Fall of 2009.

This is huge. Not in the sense of it being stated by some as a "precursor to the Nov election" but for the state of the "Peoples Power" to hold on to.
I have a few in-law relatives in Wisconsin who have a tendency to lean left who will back Walker on June 5th.
They voted for him in 2010 because they believed that he would get the state on a survivable path and keep it there. And he is succeeding in that.
Just like in Ohio, where the legislation to throttle public unions was repealed, this will be a battle between virtually every public union member and likely many private union members versus those who do not benefit from public unions.
They better get every one of them to vote, because none of the union people are going to stay home form the polls.
