How are all you in the "hot region's" (like me) dealing with this heat wave?

We're in Florida and it's a pleasnt 89*, but we have power...
I don't even know what hot is. So far our high for the year is one day of 90. Couple days in the 80s. High today expected to be high-60s. I had to turn the heater on the other night. It is getting ridiculous.
We were blest and out of electricity for only a bit over 12 hours. My cousin let us borrow his generator.
However, many of my friends still don't have power.
