The voters in MI and in their wisdom rejected this prop. en masse. So much so that the votes to reject it were more than the votes for Romney and Obama combined.
The unions were warned beforehand that this would (putting it on the ballot) create a backlash against them and so it has, quickly.
MI Governor Rick Snyder declared, from the onset of his administration, that he was against "right to work" legislation being he did not see it as a priority for Michigan and or on his agenda. But seeing how prop.2 was soundly defeated even he has changed his tune:
Well of last night (12/06/2012) the MI Senate did just that in passing such legislation! Now it is up to the MI House which it is expected to pass as well and then to the Governors desk NEXT WEEK!
